Was Vehicle Towed: - | Description of the Complaints: I received a letter from daimler chrysler corporation about a safety recall for 2002 through 2006 model year jeep liberty vehicles, which can cause ball joint separation and can result in a loss of steering control and could cause a crash without prior warning. (daimler chrysler corp. suggested to make an appointment as soon as possible) my complaint is that i called the dealer on january 2nd, i made an appointment, the closest date was two weeks after i called, i thought it was a long period of time considering the type of problem, but one day before my appointment date, i decided to call the dealer to confirm my appointment, and big was my surprise when they told me that my appointment was cancelled and that i have to wait until i hear from them again, it's been a week since that incident. my concern is that i may be involved in a crash because of this problem, and would like to have this recall solve as soon as possible. *jb |
