| Was Vehicle Towed: - | Description of the Complaints: Took 2001 ford taurus in for routine maintenance check and oil change. mechanic found the two rear spring coils were broken and could pose a danger if they puncture the rear tire(s). we will have to pay out of pocket to replace the rear spring coils as i refuse to drive with the broken coils with my infant in the car and risk the possibility of a tire blowout and crash. we had the recall work done on the front spring coils to have the shield put in. why didn't ford also have a recall done to have shields put on the rear spring coils? *jb |
