| Was Vehicle Towed: - | Description of the Complaints: I feel that the cold idle rpm on our car is set too high and causes the car to lurch when put in gear following a cold start. i have contacted both the manufacturer and the dealership and both say that the cold rpm setting on my car is within specifications and cannot be adjusted. there has been no failure or incident or consequences, but i feel that under certain conditions such as a cold start on an icy driveway with an inexperienced or elderly driver, there may well be a failure/incident/consequence. *jb |
