| Was Vehicle Towed: - | Description of the Complaints: Tl*- the contact owns a 2007 ford mustang. on 1-13-07 the contact was driving at 65 mph under dry conditions when the rear differential seized, the vehicle stopped with in 3 seconds of the failure. the contact stated that there wasn't a crash, but the vehicle stopped in the middle of the road. the contact had the vehicle towed to a dealer, who first told him that the transmission failed. the dealer was told by the manufacturer to pull the transmission apart, and that they would then determine how to repair the failure. the contact called the manufacturer, and explained the situation. the contact then received a call from the dealer, stating that the failure was not with the transmission, it had been cause by the rear differential. *ak updated 2/22/2007 - *nm |
