| Was Vehicle Towed: - | Description of the Complaints: January 2007 i purchased 2 evenflo titan car seats from a local retailer. upon inspection of the car seats i noticed that the bottom front of the seat cover was melted on one. after looking further i found that the base of the car seat had several areas that looked like melted in fingerprints along the entire front. i returned this car seat to the store and was shocked when they opened five more boxes and all of the seats looked the same. i did not have an accident with this seat, but i think that the safety of the seat would have to be affected if the seat got hot enough to melt. i hope that you will look into this so that no children are hurt due to the defect. *jb |
