Was Vehicle Towed: - | Description of the Complaints: I recently purchased a 2006 chevrolet silverado, it is leaning very badly to the driver side of the vehicle. i was told the vehicle is not damaged, bent, or warped in any way. i was told it was just built "that badly, and should have never passed an inspection of any kind". the dealership first tried to use the slack adjuster bars that are made to adjust this kind of problem. this fix did not work since it was leaning so badly. they ordered special parts (a shim and longer u-bolts) and installed them a couple days later. this also did not come even close to fixing the problem, and i was once again sent on my way. i am now waiting for a response from gm, while i am still being forced to drive my unsafe vehicle which i feel is at great risk for a rollover. *jb |
