| Was Vehicle Towed: - | Description of the Complaints: The glass of the rear window of my chrysler pacifica shattered and exploded out. i had parked the car at my school and locked it. when i came out after class i noticed the window had two holes in it. i originally thought someone had hit my car, but when i got closer i saw glass on the ground outside my car. a person walking by saw the whole thing and left note. he wrote that he heard and saw my window break. he said there was nobody near the car at the time. i believe the glass in the pacifica is defective. the temperature was around 35 degrees. there was no glass in my vehicle. it was as if the window just shattered and exploded out. my fear is that the rest of my windows will also be defective and will shatter and explode when the car is occupied and hurt someone. if this passerby had not witnessed the sua sponte shattering i would have thought that someone just hit my car. i wonder how many other people have had this happen to them without witnesses and just thought they had been a victim of vandalism. *nm |
