| Was Vehicle Towed: - | Description of the Complaints: See nhtsa action number : dp06004. complainant vehicle (mercury mystique 1999) exhibits the identical conditions. complainant attempted to receive repairs from an authorized mercury dealer in 2002, was (a) not told of any existing ford campaign involving the subject matter; and (b) was told that nothing could be done for less than multiple thousands of dollars. since that time, the warpage has worsened to the point where the grill for the defroster will no longer stay in place, and defroster performance to the driver's side is severely undermined due to uncontrolled airflow through the opening to the defroster blower. *nm |
