Was Vehicle Towed: - Description of the Complaints: i have been very pleased with my car and it's performance, till one day about two weeks ago i noticed the rpm's running a bit too high at 65 mph. i turned the radio down and the engine sounded like it was working to hard on a flat straight plain. i tried to downshift the transmission into 4th from drive(5th) but it did not change. so the trans. will not go into 5th gear and on cold days it will rev up to 4 to 5 k before it will shift from 3rd to 4th gear at about 30 to 40 mph. i'm going today to get the oil changed and will tell the dealership of the problem and the recalls and other transmission problem reports i have read today........................... it is now later in the day, the dealership looked over my car, hooked it up to the computer, and found nothing wrong. no action was taken, no explanation for what i am experiencing was given. i have the report from the dealer and i am now submitting this, i will leave this paper trail to get some cost recovery due to the car and dealerships inability to fix this seemingly common problem. *nm
