Was Vehicle Towed: - | Description of the Complaints: I own a 2003 acura mdx, the transmission was shifting out of order, i went to www.acuramdx.org only to find out that i am not the only one having this problem with the 2003 model, the dealer changed the fluid at around 55,000 miles and i changed it at 68,000 and it was dark brown in color, this problem has been well documented at the site shared by mdx owners. i feel that someone should look into how many of the acura mdx 2003 transmission have been replaced up to this point, there was a recall on the 01 and 02 models which caused honda to offer a 100,000 mile warranty on the transmissions, i am not sure if the problem was fixed for 2003 but i am starting to think that is was not, and so are others on the site. i have a family that rides around in this vehicle and i would hate for something to go completely wrong with the transmission during activity time of the day. thank you *jb |
