| Was Vehicle Towed: - | Description of the Complaints: My britax marathon car seat does not lock in the upright position. i discovered this when installing a friend's car seat - i was unaware that the seat would not lock. i contacted britax usa who informed me that the car seat was unsafe to use if it did not lock, however my warranty had expired and they would do nothing. they will not even look at my car seat to determine why it is defective. i am certain i cannot be the only consumer who has a defective seat. the following information is from my car seat: restraint model: e9w0605 serial # e9w0605035480 manufactured on: feb. 07, 2005 batch #: 507422*jb |
