| Was Vehicle Towed: - | Description of the Complaints: During winter driving with temperature at 18 degrees the windshield wipers became inoperative after 45 minutes of use in wash mode. water/ice builds up under a plastic cowl, this cowl hides the windshield wiper mechanics. the ice build up prevents operation of the windshield wipers. a friend of mine who is a 2005 vw jetta owner has reported this identical problem with his car. vw has refused to cover this repair under warranty, claiming this is an environmental problem. *jb |
