Was Vehicle Towed: - | Description of the Complaints: This is re: the "eddie bauer summit deluxe highback booster seat". this seat was rated very highly on your website (as on consumer report, too) -- but we are actually returning this seat because you cannot (i repeat, cannot) tighten the straps once the child is sitting in this car seat. we called the company and they gave us some tips, but did say "sometimes the weight of the child makes this seat more difficult to tighten the straps" (?). my husband cannot even tighten it! this is what makes this seat unsafe, in our opinion. this seat should be re-called because the straps cannot be tightened once the child is sitting in the seat. and our child only weighs 28 lbs! model:22-862-ebce l#13c185567 -- made 12/30/06. *nm |
