Was Vehicle Towed: - | Description of the Complaints: I purchased a compass i 420 infant car seat and registered the seat with compass. after 4 weeks of using the car seat, the restraint part of the seat belt that goes between the infants legs lifted out of the car seat with my baby. i called the company to find out why this had happened and how to fix it. i was informed that there had been a recall due to improper manufacturing in which the restraint had not been attached properly. however, i had not been contacted by the company or sent a recall kit. i believe that my baby was at extreme risk had an accident occurred and that compass was negligent in contacting me. in addition there is no information about the recall on their website. *jb |
