| Was Vehicle Towed: - | Description of the Complaints: Fuel tank rear mounting strap corroded thru strap on outer side of truck. break occurred about 1" down of the top of the rubber chaff protective coating. rubber coating provided a pocket to trap moisture and increase rate of failure. forward strap has similar damage but has yet to fail. failure of second strap could have lead to fuel tank falling onto the road during driving conditions. please contact me to view components. date of removal will be feb 20th 2007. *jb |
