Was Vehicle Towed: - Description of the Complaints: Clouding of laminate layer between panes of double-pained security door glass reduces visibility and causes safety issues. the car with this $2600 oem option suffers from delamination of the windows, which reduces or eliminates visibility from the door windows. nothing has been done yet to correct this failure. bmw admits that it is a manufacturing defect but refuses to repair or replace windows. bmw dealer estimates cost to replace windows is nearly $6000. *nm
