| Was Vehicle Towed: - | Description of the Complaints: I own a 2003 chevrolet trailblazer w/ 69016 miles. my service engine soon light came on so i took it into bill heard chevrolet where the veh was purchased to check the reason for the light. i was advised by the service manager that this was due to a leak in the gas tank and that the repair would cost approximately $1000. i took the vehicle home to have a second opinion done and do further research on the problem. i have found doing a google search that this is a common issue with the 2002-2005 chevr trailblazer. so i contacted the dealership and they stated that their have been no recalls and that gm is not anticipating to have one. this is a fire hazard and major safety issue. how can this not be recalled? *nm |
