Was Vehicle Towed: - | Description of the Complaints: My truck was included in recall: nhtsa campaign id number : 07v038000 which states: remedy: dealers will replace the front hub and bearing units... however, when the dealership performed the recall (daimler chrysler recall no. g02) they listed no replacement parts related to wheel bearings, it appears they merely added more lube to the bearing housings. searching dodge's recall database for my vin now shows that recall completed. did nhtsa leave it to the dealers discretion to decide if they wanted to replace the front hub and bearing units vs. just put a bit more grease in them? or did nhtsa direct them to replace the hubs? *jb |
