Was Vehicle Towed: - | Description of the Complaints: My 2003 chevy trailblazer ext, check engine light came on. took it into the dealer and said the code it was putting out was p0440 evap leak small. after further investigation there is a small fracture on the gas tank where the filler neck meets the tank itself. i have read of many similar problems of 2002 and 2003 trailblazers. this seems to be a safety hazard. although they said no fuel was leaking out of ours, it was leaking vapor. vapor seems more dangerous than an actual fuel leak. *jb |
