Was Vehicle Towed: - | Description of the Complaints: I purchased a pontiac gto one week prior to the incident. i had my tires replaced by the dealer consistent with a written agreement between the car dealer and i. the tire tech who replaced my tires wanted me to see one of the tires, it was sliced on the inside , hidden part of the tire. the tire did not fail because of this, but was very close to doing so. could be deadly at freeway speeds if it had failed there. then i read an online article on this very condition, and followed the links at this point. i can't believe that the car manufacturer has been allowed to let this happen and not come up with a solution to an obvious manufacturer defect. *jb |
