Was Vehicle Towed: - Description of the Complaints: I received a letter from jeep about a safety recall for the lower ball joint, i call my dealer and they stated that it would be 3-4 months before the part came in. 3-4 months i then called daimler chrysler they said i could wait or call other dealers to see how long their wait is. it was the same story with them. on the recall it stated in bold letters "this can cause the ball joint to corrode and separate. ball joint separation can result in a loss of steering control and could cause a crash without prior warning. my complaint is i have to wait 3-4 months to fix this problem while this places me and my family at risk. *jb
