Was Vehicle Towed: - | Description of the Complaints: Tl*- the contact stated that when driving the 2007 nissan altima at approximately 45 mph he felt a pulling motion under the vehicle. the vehicle jerked 3 or 4 times , and then the engine light illuminated. he pulled the vehicle to the side of the road ,and the vehicle lost power. he attempted to restart the vehicle, but the vehicle would not start. he noticed gray smoke coming from under the hood. the horn on the vehicle started to beep uncontrollably, and then the engine started to burn. the vehicle was towed to the insurance company's investigation site. neither the dealership or the manufacturer have inspected the vehicle to determine the reason for the fire. the vehicle had 20, 00 miles. *ak updated 03/30/07. *jb ***engine fire*** pe07-026.pco |
