Was Vehicle Towed: - Description of the Complaints: When i start up my trailblazer and drive off the headlights and dash lights flash and flicker. i have taken to the dealership twice for repairs and they find nothing wrong, and gave me a bulletin from gm that stated this is a normal operating characteristic due to a secondary air pump diagnostic routine, and that there is nothing to fix. i think this is wrong. the lights flash so much people think i am flashing my lights at them. if i sit and idle for 30 seconds or so, sometimes that helps, sometimes it doesn't (this was gm's "fix"). if it's cold i have to idle it for several minutes, and even then it doesn't always stop it. i have had to pull off to the side of the highway, stop my engine, start it again, wait several minutes, then merge back into traffic and just pray the lights didn't start flickering again. this should be made a recall and they should be forced to fix this. i have contacted them repeatedly and got nowhere with them. *jb
