| Was Vehicle Towed: - | Description of the Complaints: March 2007. was informed by honda dealership in irvine, ca that the problem that existed with my 2000 honda odyssey not providing cold air was in fact a damaged a/c condenser. the service tech. showed me the area in the front of the vehicle where the damage to the a/c condenser had occurred. the service tech informed me that the result was most likely from a rock or similar object striking the condenser. after further reviewing the damaged condenser, i realized that the condenser is mounted in such a fashion in the front of the vehicle as not having the protection from road debris that it possibly should. there is only a small grill that covers the front of the a/c condenser. i firmly believe that a design problem exists with the odyssey, in the fact that i have read numerous complaints similar to my situation that others currently or previously have had with the honda odyssey. *jb |
