Was Vehicle Towed: - | Description of the Complaints: Our 2001 honda odyssey began making a loud metal on metal clunk whenever we went over any kind of bumps in the road. the noise was centralized to the front driver's side. when taking it it to be repaired, a section of the front coild spring that had sheared off fell from the front of the vehicle. we pulled over and recovered the section of coil and we were fortunate that we were going slow and that it does not appear to have done any other damage. to correct the failure we had to replace both front coil springs ($560) and we were also advised to replace the struts even though they appeared to be in good shape with no leakage (which we chose not to do at this time due to cost). |
