| Was Vehicle Towed: - | Description of the Complaints: Tl* - the contact owns a 2004 gmc envoy xuv. the contact stated that the plastic trim molding on the top and in the rear of the vehicle which protects the retractable roof filled up with snow which changed into ice, and when the ice began to melt it expanded and high movement of the vehicle caused the vehicle's trim molding to rip apart. it broke the clips ,and pulled it right off the car. the contact stated that the more water and ice were on the vehicle the higher the speed traveled, and the more the trim ripped apart. the trim molding was held on by plastic clips. the failure and current mileage were both 53,000.*ak |
