Was Vehicle Towed: - | Description of the Complaints: When rotating my tires at 6000 miles, i noticed that there was pain missing on the front struts by the top of the tires. on the passenger side there was also a small build up of rubber on the strut and visible wear on the tire. i looked up on a gto forum and found that this is a common problem. i took the car to the dealer and informed them of the information i found on the internet. the dealer realigned the front wheels because they had too much negative camber. the people on the forums think the real problem is that the front strut bushings have collapsed from being tied down during transportation from australia. time will tell if the realignment fixed my problem but i suspect that the front strut bushings will collapse even more over time and the tire rub issue will be back.*ak |
