| Was Vehicle Towed: - | Description of the Complaints: 1999 dodge durango shuts off while driving. cannot duplicate problem at dealership, replaced non-defective parts, now about to replace the pcm to see if that is the problem. because of this defect in this car, i have almost been hit by a semi as well as another car because it stops in mid-traffic and causes near-misses. i have spent quite a bit of time online and see that numerous people have had the same exact issue and dodge has done nothing to recall. i am looking into starting a class action lawsuit against dodge here out of denver. my life is too important, and as many complaints as there have been, this should have been taken care of a long time ago! the car seems to stall when it is hot out, i just replaced the crankshaft sensor...don't bother...it didn't work! last break down was yesterday. called dodge and they can't help me unless they have dodge people diagnose the problem...problem is you can't duplicate it in the shop!*ak |
