Was Vehicle Towed: - Description of the Complaints: Ev cooling fan runs at a high rate of speed and does not disengage for serveral minutes while driving. the vehicle does not shift properly during this period of time. since i am unable to get up to highway speeds, i feel i am a safety hazard to other drivers that must slow down until they can pass or i get up to proper highway speeds. i will be replacing this component at the dealer they gave me the following estimate: part cost $350 and labor cost $300. i will be asking for the old component. this problem began occuring without any warning. one morning it just began operating at a high rate when i started my vehicle and as stated, continued for serveral minutes.
