| Was Vehicle Towed: - | Description of the Complaints: Hit mound of ice at very low speed (under 5mph), plastic bumper cover split and caught on ice. when i backed up to get off ice, entire plastic bumper cover was ripped off. was told by repair shop this part may have become brittle due to extreme cold weather and the slightest impact caused it to split. cost over $900 to repair a piece of plastic. plastic bumper cover and pieces that held it on had to be replaced. car has been repaired, don't know whereabouts of old parts, if still at shop or not. no damage to any other parts of the car, just the bumper cover. |
