Was Vehicle Towed: - | Description of the Complaints: Tl*the contact owns a 1999 honda accord. the contact stated that the vehicle suddenly shut off while driving 40 mph. all indicator lights illuminated, and the vehicle finally restarted. the vehicle was brought to a local mechanic ,and diagnosed as needing a new ignition switch. the vehicle was included in a recall for the ignition interlock lever, which was replaced in april 2006. the ignition switch was replaced due to a previous recall. however, the contact stated that was incorrect. the dealer refused to repair the vehicle for free. the current and failure mileage were 148000.*ak |
