| Was Vehicle Towed: - | Description of the Complaints: On my 2007 yamaha r1 motorcycle there is a significant lag' with the throttle response during normal operation at highway speeds. when in 2nd gear and steady at approximately 5500 rpms if attempting to accelerate , ie. to avoid something or someone, the throttle does not instantly respond when applied. this is very dangerous in my opinion ,and the dealer says that yamaha is aware of the problem but does not have a solution. *ak |
