Was Vehicle Towed: - Description of the Complaints: Tl*the contact owns a 2001 ford expedition. the contact noticed smoke rising from the hood of the vehicle. the contact exited the vehicle , and it was towed to a repair shop. the dealer was contacted, and stated that the vehicle was included in recall 05v388000. after reviewing the pictures of the vehicle's failure the dealer raised the possibility that the recall repair may have caused the fire. the vehicle has not been repaired. the current and failure mileage were 84,000.*ak
