Was Vehicle Towed: - | Description of the Complaints: Tl*- the contact owns a 2001 ford expedition with a current odometer reading of 122,000 miles. the contact stated that the vehicle was parked and caught on fire. the contact came out and witnessed the vehicle smoking, and as they put out the fire, the contact saw that the fire came from the master cylinder cruise control area under the hood. later in the day the vehicle started to smoke again, an the contact had the fuse for the cruise control removed, which stopped the vehicle from smoking. the contact found that there was recall 05v388000, but she never received any recall notification. *ak |
