| Was Vehicle Towed: - | Description of the Complaints: Tl*- the contact owns a 2004 gmc savanna van with a current odometer reading of 10,200 miles. the contact stated that the van took a long time to stop when the brakes were applied. the contact found that the brakes that came with the vehicle were too small, which resulted in extended stopping distance when applied. the manufacturer was called about this problem ,and they told the contact to call his local dealer and have them look at the brakes. the dealer told the contact that the brakes were performing correctly. the contact stated that when he was driving at 70 mph under any weather conditions he often had to pull to the side of the road when braking to avoid hitting other vehicles. *ak update *4/23/07 *tr |
