| Was Vehicle Towed: - | Description of the Complaints: Tl*- the contact owns a 1999 chevrolet tahoe. when preparing to stop the vehicle while driving at 5 mph the abs activated, and took longer to stop the vehicle during clear road conditions. the dealer stated that the wheel speed sensor caused the abs to activate. the dealer stated that the sensor should be cleaned. there was recall 05v379000 concerning the wheel speed sensor. the manufacturer stated the 1999 chevrolet tahoe was not included in the recall. the current and failure mileage were both 132,000. *ak |
