| Was Vehicle Towed: - | Description of the Complaints: Tl* - the contact owns a 2000 daewoo leganza. she stated that therewas a safety recall and it applied to this vehicle. however they will only replace the harness free of charge , one could see that the wires were beginning to melt, but not the camshaft that it was attached to, which no longer had the bolts or the clip, which held the camshaft in place. she purchased the vehicle with an odometer reading of 80,000 miles , and shortly thereafter she began smelling a burning smell and fumes, and then the engine light turned on. she stated that the smell of fumes and something burning usually happened at higher speeds. the contact took the vehicle to a dealer 04/02/2007 because it began hesitating and losing its power when she tried to accelerate. the current mileage was 135,000. *ak |
