| Was Vehicle Towed: - | Description of the Complaints: Front drive shaft spline failure. driving on freeway approx. 60 mph around town. loud metal grinding noise. no vehicle acceleration response. vehicle slowly rolled to stop. pulled over to side. towed vehicle to lr dealer. received est. of $3500 to replace shaft and front differential declined and arranged for tow to home. after a week of research, purchased aftermarket driveshaft. installed myself and working great. did not have to replace front differential. *jb |
