Was Vehicle Towed: - Description of the Complaints: Tl*the contact owns a 2006 jeep liberty renegade. the contact received a recall notice for the lower ball joints on april 2, 2007. at the time of purchase,the dealer agreed to give the contact the 2006 vehicle in exchange for the 2005 jeep liberty due to related lower ball joint failures. the dealer confirmed that there were no recalls for the 2006 jeep liberty at the time of purchase. the dealer advised the contact to deactivate the electronic stability control. while driving 20 mph, and making a sharp turn, the electronic stability control did not help to steer the vehicle. the current mileage was14,000, and failure mileage was 100.*ak
