Was Vehicle Towed: - | Description of the Complaints: The incident date is non-specific as this is an ongoing issue. the sun visors are very stiff and the effort required to raise and lower them frequently results in the visor springing away from the retaining clip. this movement could startle unsuspecting drivers or result in the visor hitting the driver's head. i have reported this issue to the local dealer and was advised that the visors had to be that stiff or they would "flop" down. this is inaccurate - we have a 2006 hyundai sonata that has a very light action on the sun visors and to-date, we have experienced no problems with the visor "flopping" down. i had hoped that the visor mechanism would slacken with time; however, this has not been the case. *jb |
