| Was Vehicle Towed: - | Description of the Complaints: Tl*the contact owns a 2005 keystone montana 3295rk 5th wheel. the welding mechanic stated that over time the solid tubing that has air space in the middle wore out and caused cracks in the king pin box. the mechanic observed additional stress fractures, and the vehicle was currently waiting to be repaired. the king pin box was attached to the hitch and was connected to the vehicle. the mechanic stated that the beam should be 6 inches , but because of the stress fractures the beam was 4 inches. the contact notified keystone, and was advised that the warranty did not cover the repair costs. the contact stated that the trailer has no mileage, fuel, engine, or cylinders.*ak |
