| Was Vehicle Towed: - | Description of the Complaints: Tl*the contact owns a 2001 chevrolet silverado 2500 hd. the contact stated that the vehicle wasexperiencing abs failure, and found recall # 05v379000 for the same failure. while driving at any speed the contact sensed vibration in the brake pedal when it was depressed, and extended stopping distance. the contact stated that the brake fluid was checked and looked satisfactory. the vibrations produced a rumbling noise that increased the harder the brake pedal was depressed. the instrument panel did not indicate when the abs activated. the current mileage was 130,450, and failure mileage was 129,700.*ak |
