Was Vehicle Towed: - | Description of the Complaints: I have felt for some time that as i am rolling to a stop at 10-15mph and apply the brakes that there is an increase in the rpms from 600 to 1000 or slightly more. the sudden revving is enough that i have sensed that the car could actually continue to move forward when i intend for it to stop and perhaps cause an accident. related to this, i had one instance when i was pulling into a parking space that i had to apply great force to the brake pedal and put the car in neutral to avoid running over a speed bump at the end of the space. i had initially thought i may have put my foot on the accelerator pedal by accident, but doubted that at the time, and now seriously doubt it given some other reports i have read on the web.*ak |
