| Was Vehicle Towed: - | Description of the Complaints: 2002 gmc extended cab failed state inspection today due to ineffective parking brakes. they have been ineffective for years. today, i took the brakes apart and the left rear shoe was worn out. the shoe was not held in place very well. same problem on right rear, but brake lining materialws still present. this seemed like a badly designed system. i am original owner, have 56,000 miles on truck, never been abused. am taking to dealer tomorrow and fear huge bill.*ak |
