| Was Vehicle Towed: - | Description of the Complaints: Evenflo infant base - model #32331200li; date of manufacturing: 03/09/07. the button to move the foot adjuster on this infant base jammed and broke with proper installation by a father and a certified child passenger safety technician instructor. the oblong button to adjust the base is situated between the base and the seat back. we tried to install the seat several times with the foot adjuster at level 2 or 3 to allow for proper recline for a 9 lbs 11 day old baby. however, upon installation in the vehicle the button would pop in and make the adjuster go back to level 1. the third time we tried to install the base with the button set to two, the button broke with the weight of the father as he tried to install the seat correctly. the father is taking the base back to babies r' us for a replacement. i asked him to contact evenflo with our serious concerns. *ak |
