| Was Vehicle Towed: - | Description of the Complaints: The auto-dimming heated mirror on my 2001 chevy suburban suddenly cracked after bumping into the side of my garage door. the mirror immediately started dripping a green substance on the driveway. i started to clean up this substance with my bare hands which caused a burning sensation. i then noticed that the green liquid was discoloring/melting the paint on the side of my vehicle and eating the concrete in my driveway. i sprayed the areas down with water and found the paint on my vehicle damaged. my skin became very red and irritated after contacting this material. i can not believe that gm could knowingly sell a product to the public with no warning of any kind. the black plastic housing of the outside of the mirror also has melted due to contact with the material. i want to know what this material is and what health problems i can expect to have due to my direct contact. i want to have access to an msds report for unknown material. this is a very caustic chemical. *jb |
