| Was Vehicle Towed: - | Description of the Complaints: Tl*- the contact received a recall notice #06e076000 for her dometic refrigerator model rm2852. according to the recall a fatigue crack may develop in the boiler tube which may release a sufficient amount of pressurized coolant solution into an area where an ignition source (gas flame) is present. the failure may result in a fire. she contacted dometic who said that the repair would be performed at no charge. however, when she took the refrigerator to the technician they charged her and dometic is denying reimbursement. dometic told her to call nhtsa to file a complaint. in spite of denying the reimbursement dometic offered to contact the dealer as well. there had been no failure to date. |
