Was Vehicle Towed: - | Description of the Complaints: I own a 2000 pontiac grand am se recently, i had paid out of pocket to get my "hazard warning switch," replaced because the turn signals/hazard lamps become intermittent or inoperative. nhtsa put out a recall on 08/28/03, recall #03v327000. i took my vehicle to a gm dealer in hawaii in an attempt to get the part replaced under recall. the dealership did not honor the recall request and stated that i must pay out of pocket. i then took my vehicle to an ase certified mechanic repair shop and had the needed repairs done. i paid $98.36 out of my pocket for the part and labor. on 4/18/07 i called gm (1-800-620-7668) to request reimbursement for what i paid out. gm refused to pay. i am now seeking reimbursement for the monies i had to pay out. are you able to assist me with this problem? *tr |
