Was Vehicle Towed: - | Description of the Complaints: My 2001 ford expedition blow a spark plug out of the engine head. research indicates this is a very common problem with ford aluminum head engines. ford will not provide the consumer with a program to help with the cost to repair this obvious design defect. they have a redesigned head that will replace the defective head for $3,500. ford takes no responsibility for the financial hardship this engineering defect has caused thousands of ford owners. *jb |
