| Was Vehicle Towed: - | Description of the Complaints: 2000 honda odyssey with automatic sliding doors that malfunction. the door does not close all the way. the door is not flush with the side (rear) panel. there is about a 3/8 inch gap between the rear panel and the back of the door. i am concerned that the door might not protect the occupants because it is not secure. will the door fly off during an impact? i have had to turn off the power to the doors so that it operates manually. however, it is very difficult to open and close - my wife and fours kids, including my 15 year old son cannot open or close the door manually. i am concerned about exiting the vehicle in an emergency. the kids may be in a situation where they are trapped. it also would become a problem if we had to enter the vehicle quickly and were not able to do so. *tr |
